Only works with AT&T You did not specify this device only works with AT&T! I tried connecting it to my Verizon network and they couldn’t identify it or use it b/c there’s a built in SIM card specific to another network. You need to list this on your description before wasting people’s time and money!

Battery Life is Terrible (at least on my unit) Honestly, I would love to give this a 5/5 star review, but I simply can’t. Functionality-wise, it’s awesome! You can track running, make and receive calls and texts, check the weather, play games, etc. However, the battery life on my watch is absolutely ABYSMAL. I usually take it off the charge at 0700 (7AM) and it dies or gives me a low battery warning (15% left) at 1200 (12 noon) that same day. 5 HOURS. This is ridiculous and unacceptable for the amount of money I spent on it. What good is this watch if it can’t last me through a single day? I don’t abuse it or use it in any crazy ways. I rely on it primarily for the time, getting notifications from my phone, and tracking my steps. In fact, I can’t even use it to track my runs anymore because I can charge it up to 100%, start the GPS on it for running, and it will die during my run (in less than an hour). This is ludicrous to me. I don’t know if this is just mine (apparently other buyers are very happy with their…

DETAILED review and comparison to Android Wear … plus a tip AS OF FEBRUARY, 2016, I AM RAISING MY REVIEW TO 5 STARS (from 4). I USE THIS EVERYDAY, IT LOOKS LIKE A WATCH AND IT’S GOTTEN EVEN BETTER WITH THE LATEST SOFTWARE UPDATE. I ALSO EXCHANGED THE SPORT AND GOT THE CLASSIC. I’M GLAD I DID. THE CLASSIC IS GREAT LOOKING AND THE RING IS EVEN EASIER TO GRASP.This review is based on the Gear S2 Sport/Dark Grey edition, not the classic. I also own a more formal LG Watch Urbane which is an Android Wear based watch. The Gear S2 uses a different operating system known as Tizen.NOTIFICATIONS – THE MAIN REASON I WANT A SMART WATCHOne thing I was concerned about was whether or not I could use my preferred text messaging app (Textra) as opposed to the stock SMS messaging app and still get notifications. The answer is YES, you can. You can also reply using the limited reply methods available for text messages. In fact, you can direct any notification that normally appears at the top of your Android phone to the…
