Would be 5 stars if not for a major gripe I absolutely love this watch, its everything a smartwatch should be. You can do so many things on it and I love it. I would rate it 5 stars, if not for one problem: they force you to use the Samsung email and text messager. They should give you the option to use the Android messsager whatever one you want, but it forces you to use the samsung one. I’ll change this if they add support for other text messagers.
Beautiful & functional I had the gear s3 watch before this, which I was a fan of, but love this one more! The smaller face & rose gold makes a much more sophisticated look with perfect fit for a woman. So much functionality & pairs quickly and easily with note 8.
No Samsung Pay for United States Consumers The watch is excellent and everything works great; however, there is one HUGE problem. No Samsung Pay (SSP). If you are purchasing this watch and you are from the United States, you will not be able to use SSP because SSP only works in the country that the watch is designed for. In this case, this watch is designed for a spanish speaking country, not sure which one. Unfortunately, it appears there is no alternative other than to return the watch and purchase a US model instead. I have searched high and low through Samsung forums looking for ANY loophole to resolve this issue. This problem goes back to 2016 with Samsung saying it will be resolved soon. Fast-forward to 2019 and nothing. It’s too bad that an update or a simple switch in settings cannot resolve this issue; SSP should universal.Note to the seller: Please make this information clear to U.S. buyers to avoid this issue in the future. Maybe include it in the description like “No Samsung Pay for US Consumers”…
