    The history of “smart watches” has been a rather long, troubled story with dozens of standards and designs falling by the wayside since their inception. The definition of “smart watches” is pretty debatable. Does that watch from the early 2000’s that worked on analog cell networks before texting and the internet were a thing count? I’m not sure, but this particular watch has come a long way from there.I ordered this watch without reading the full specs first, so I was a little surprised to find first off that it is not water resistant. While, I wouldn’t expect most watches to be water PROOF, not being water resistant is just crazy. This means that the watch can basically only be worn indoors unless you want to risk destroying it. If you are a hermit who never leaves home that might be fine, but the majority of us do go outside on occasion, so there is really no excuse for this watch to not be at least resistant to water or humidity.Another…

    I am so conflicted about this watch. I really like this watch but it doesn’t have a speaker. Who ever heard of a watch without a speaker. I’m kidding but not really. I have become use to having a Wear OS smartwatch with a speaker. I like hearing the Google Assistant talk back to me. I like having the option of using it as a speakerphone for my smartphone. I like hearing it ring when my phone rings. However, do I need all of that? I rarely use the speakers on my smartwatches. So because of that question, it makes me feel conflicted.However, I love the look of it. This is my first fully metaled smartwatch. It took me awhile to figure out how to resize it, because it was too big for my wrist. Now that I got it resized and wearing it, I’m noticing how it’s better than my other smartwatches. It seems to last longer and is brighter. I can make other watch bright too but it will burn battery life really quick. But with this Guess watch, I’m not having that issue. I can’t figure…
