Worth the splurge
… broken down and bought one and I am so happy that I did
The obvious choice Purchased this from CousinJay (3rd party) for way less than the Prime price; was a little concerned, but got exactly what was advertised: brand new, USA model, factory sealed in the original box with charger and extra band, series 1 38mm Space Gray. Confirmed it is under warranty through Apple for the standard year starting when I registered it to my Apple id (was not used/repackaged/refurbished).To be clear, this is the series 1 watch. Not the original, and not the series 2. This one has the same processor as the series 2, so speed and battery life are both excellent, but it’s not waterproof to 50m and doesn’t have onboard GPS (neither of which I care about; it’s still ipx7 certified so can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes, and my phone has GPS.)Shipped fast, great experience with this seller.The 38mm fits well under a dress shirt cuff which is my situation 4 days a week, and is less conspicuous than the larger 42mm size IMO…
